TEMPO.CO, Bandung – The Vitality and Mineral Sources Ministry’s Geology Company on Wednesday elevated the standing of Mount Karangetang which is positioned at Siau Island, North Sulawesi. The standing of the volcano was bumped up from Stage II Alert to Stage III as of February 8 

The company’s performing head Muhammad Wafid in an announcement on Wednesday defined that Stage III Alert bans human actions inside a 2.5-kilometer radius from the mountain’s crater and three.5 kilometers in its southern and southeastern area.
